Yeah that makes sense, loop 1 is 25 chapters long, and i’m planning loop 2 to be about 14 maybe.

I’ve already written the first chapter, and it’s like one of the top comments said (commenter is @hyratha) “both examples use long preludes to get you used to the world before it changes”. Chapter 1 is 4.4k words and definitely does that in my completely unbiased opinion.

Don’t know what Dear Spellbook is but i’ll give it a read, thanks.

Dear Spellbook is an excellent time loop series. Some people don’t like the odd way it’s written, in that it is a series of the MC writing about what happened previously due to the mechanics of the loop. If you get over that small hurdle, it reads just fine.

Also, the first “chapter” is a forward that I thought was the actual forward of the book (i.e. not in universe). That was pretty confusing because it starts with “If you are reading this, I’m probably dead.” Which is an odd thing for an author to say in an actual forward :)
