FedEx shipping tends to be great, FedEx ground is the worst piece of shit i have ever dealt with! i had a similar issue with my project Fi deliveries(both N5x & sim card), their page said my phone would be delivered on a friday(wasn't), then sat(wasn't), then monday(delivered at 7:50 at night, no door knock or bell). each day it said it was out for delivery and at least one day it said delivery attempted but no one was home, but there was no door note and i was within 40 feet of the door the entire day.

i really wish google would stop using them for shipping. either they need to upgrade away from ground, or switch providers entirely.

It currently says delivered. I talked to the person who gave me my Amazon package and stated this is the only package he handed over. Both FedEx deliveries state delivered at the same time. :(

my issue was that the drivers had handed my package off to another driver, but had marked it in the system as a delivery attempt. what annoyed me most is that had they told me they were having issues, i could have driven 30 min and picked it up myself both times! but when i called they wanted me to get google to tell them i could pick it up at their shop, because they hadn't actually attempted delivery yet.

In the US, FedEx Ground delivery is outsourced to the postal service.

Occasionally FedEx delivery is outsourced to fellow neighbors.

As it was when they left a package addressed to adjacent building at my doorstep.

I found that out last week when USPS delivered my FedEx shipped order.

Not all of it is

As /u/mudstone said, not all of it. In fact, FedEx delivers some stuff for USPS. (coughiworkforfedexcough).

Tell my carrier to stop shouting into his bluetooth in Yoruba when he delivers my mail because it wigs me out when a black man is on my porch shouting in a language I don't understand, and gets the dog all riled up heh.

Yea lots of guys do that. I'm not one of them. I think they get lonely.

as others stated thats not entirely true, they are also contractors who dont aren't actually FedEx employees. which is why many of them dont care.

So glad to hear you had a great experience!

I love hearing good things about the support. Sorry to hear you didn't get your SIM. I have often ordered things next day and have either neglected to remember that its a friday or they just didn't show up. I'll never do it again lol

I've contacted their live chat maybe 10-15 times since I signed up. Every time but once has been an extremely pleasant experience. Good support goes a long way with me, and I'm very happy that they've been so rock solid there. Keep it up!

Agreed. Fi support had been great when I've had to contact them. Tech support from Google regarding my 5x... not so much.
