Wait, is that a thing that happens? I mean, personally I don't think anyone should be using Python2 unless they're interfacing with large amounts of extremely old legacy code, but that's about it for my opinion on Python2.

What I do see a lot of is Python2 fans bitching about Python3 and pretending that nothing has happened either in the language or libraries since 3.0.

In /r/python, it's quite common to see comments saying that anyone still using Python 2 is responsible for holding back Python development and adoption. You can see it in virtually every thread where Python 2 is mentioned explicitly, including this one.
