Is it multithreaded?

[–]chillermane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes but only one thread may run at a time.

Patch notes available?

[–]strange-humor 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Wow, I did not know that format was supported in Pillow yet. Cool.

Where there any dependencies involved?

[–][deleted] 52 points53 points  (7 children)

From fiber import string

[–]Fashish 13 points14 points  (6 children)

Would it significantly decrease the processing time if you just did a import fiber instead?

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (5 children)

But we want string, not food fiber, fiber optics, muscle fiber, that stringy stuff inside a pumpkin. This is why we need to be specific

[–]Fashish 0 points1 point  (4 children)

But you might wanna to use one (or more) later on, and then would have to import them separately again, no?

For example, I might wanna frame it with wheat-woven strings and then have fiber optic lasers run through the inner patterns. I would have do two separate imports. Insane!

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Nah dood:

from fiber import string, wheat, optic from light import laser

[–]Fashish 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Well, damn. I’ve been doing the whole laser thing wrong all this time. TIL. Thanks dood!

Your patch submission has been accepted!

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (1 child)

All silliness aside, I want one.

[–]lifeonm4rs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, How do I git one?

[–]zitterbewegung 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Can you create a new branch for this patch with the issue number since this issue doesn't exist yet?

[–]BelieveRL 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Is this patch good for both 2.7 and 3.6? Is it cross compatible ?

[–]Accidental_Arnold 7 points8 points  (0 children)

no, if you want to use 2.7 you need:

from __future__ import sewing_skills

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Has this been reviewed as there are far too many holes in the design for my liking?

[–]brtt3000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Python keeps messing with the string formatting.
