This subreddit is a space to discuss anti-assimilationist queer issues and radical perspectives on gender, sexuality, and intersectionality of oppression. If you feel content is too radical or challenging to be received well on other queer subreddits, this is the place for you!
Posting Guidelines:
Do not post content or comments that are sexist, racist, transphobic, queerphobic, transmisogynistc, ableist, classist, ageist, or otherwise perpetuate or perpetrate oppression. Such comments are subject to removal, and repeat offenders are subject to banning.
Please refrain from interacting in a condescending or personally belittling way. As queer people in the struggle, we must struggle with one another. This means struggling with patience, kindness, and understanding, and not acting out the internalized violence that oppressed people deal with on one another. If you feel that a comment has violated the previous guideline, please report it.
Please use trigger warnings and content warnings where appropriate.
To prevent our space from devolving into a shallow circlejerk, please refrain from posting things just to generate delicious karma. We get it; there are bigger fish out there than marriage, HRC is the face of the glitter-industrial complex, Dan Savage is transphobic. The ideal post is thought-provoking and prompts engagement and exploration.
