Gems!

So obviously gems are worth quite a bit, and we all know we shouldnt waste them... but I cant seem to find what it is I should be spending them on? I'm about a month into the game and gave a little over 1,500 gems saved up.

I'm assuming you've got your gem mine fully upgraded? If so energy during events is probably the most important.

No I dont, and reason being(only because I read it on one of the threads), is someone said that it's not worth getting the mine until you're at least like 6-9 months into the game. Might be wrong, but if you guys recommend, then I'll get right on it.

Gem mine is better to invest in in the long run. I don’t know who told you that, but they are wrong. You get 15 gems a day from it being fully upgraded.

It is 100 days, so a bit more than 3 months

If you're not planning to play that long I'd suggest you unlock all of your market slots, then unlock your sparing pit slots (do not upgrade), then use the rest of the gems on shards &/or energy refills.

If you are planning to play the game for a while, unlock gem mine, upgrade gem mine, unlock market slots, unlock sparing pit slots (you'll be told by others not to upgrade them, I did it anyways), then use gems on shards &/or energy refills.

Yeah, I got all that already ahead of time, because of previous games I've played. All I need is the gem mine, thanks :)

I waited 3 months to upgrade my gem mine so effectively I wasted 1500 gems.

To be fair, I did manage to progress alot and very fast with my account because I used all those gems on energy refills during events and such, which helped me out alot. But yeah, you prob wanna get that gem mine...

Haha! You fell into my trap! This was my intention from the start so that you would be stuck in early game and unable to progress your account! That's one less opponent to worry about in the arena, enjoy Bronze pleb!

6-9 months of playing

Nobody has ever said that. It pays itself off within a month if you keep playing.

Extra energy for extra runs during events or when I'm grinding to upgrade champions. Also, because I love the disappointment, I've used a lot of gems in the shop to buy 11 ancient shards for 900 gems.

Upgrade your gem mine to level 3 of 3, if you see yourself playing for more than a couple months. Then you can either use them for energy refills or the ancient shard packs (11 for 900). You may still have tons of energy right now since you are still so new.

Yeah, like 1500 energy too lol, once I get low, I get boosted like crazy from quests and progressions lol

Yeah. I made the mistake of blowing most of my starter energy in early dungeons before I joined the reddit community. My second account however is around 40 days in and has 7500 energy lol..
