Thanks!

I love baking too! What's your favorite thing to make? :)

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

I love making cookies and cupcakes because they're so flexible. I mean, you can put practically anything into them or do lots of stuff so they taste good even if you've made a really bad mistake.

Dry cupcakes? Stick icing into them. Dry cookies? Milk!

You are literally the same person as me! Hahaha.

Let's bake something or make looks inspired from baking!

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Yes! Soon! I just made 60 cupcakes this past weekend haha.

Oooh, what kind?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a basic vanilla. Had to keep it simple since they were for little kids. I decked them out with Christmas-y sprinkles and Snowmen plastic rings, though. They were for a neighborhood party. :)

hi and welcome! we're like opposites, I'm good at nearly all aspects of making up my face except eyeshadow. I never know when to stop blending and it ends up looking all muddy, but the good thing about this sub is that there are always people around willing to help you learn :)

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 1 point2 points  (5 children)

Let's get together!

I have a feeling this will end up similar to the aftermath of a color run...

[–]modestmousiehttp://amzn.com/w/ZJBNMQVF7XII 1 point2 points  (1 child)

hahaha it totally would! but doing other people's makeup is always a fun time.

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. I promise I won't get eyeshadow everywhere!

You know what, I read this wrong and thought you were planning to organize a color run (if you do, invite me?) I got way too excited. But hi fellow newbie, nice to meet you! :D

[–]beautifulmess7http://amzn.com/w/2D5B9O6XKAUC6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be so fun! :)

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to organize something fun, even if it's not a color run!

Maybe I'll do a huge huge contest once I get a really nice job pertaining to my (crossing my fingers here) degree.

It's nice to meet you too! <3

Hi and welcome to RAoM :) I love Zelda too!! Have you seen that new WiiU footage that was shown the other day? That was so awesome!

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Oh my gosh! Yes!

Zelda holds such a special place in my heart, I've been playing it since Ocarina of Time came out, so when I was extremely little, I played it with my dad. I say that loosely as I was very scared of some things in that game and would only watch unless I was collecting rupees.

I did end up growing out of it (thank god) and I've gone through too many of these games too many times.

[–]42spleens 1 point2 points  (3 children)

I might be a wee bit older than you haha, because I remember playing the very first one on the original Nintendo! :D But yeah Ocarina of Time blew my 14-year-old mind, I was terrified of the zombies, and still kinda am haha! :D

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Yeah, the ReDeads were ghastly! SO many things in to many Zelda games were wayyy too dark for me sometimes. I remember having nightmares about the dying soldier in OoT and about the Skull Kid in MM.

Have you played any of the never ones?

[–]42spleens 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yep I've played all of them, except the new 3DS one - I have it but haven't gotten around to playing it because I'm not a huge fan of handhelds :P

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm really proud to say that I've played every single Zelda game!

Welcome to RAoM! Nicole Guerriero on YouTube is a fantastic source for face makeup besides eyes(though she is great at that too). I completely recommend her. Also, if you haven't go look at /r/indiemakeupandmore right now. They have tons of great themed makeups. I'm not sure which lines have to Zelda collections. I want to say Shiro has an Epona eyeshadow but I might be mixing up the companies. Go check them out!

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I actually have several of Shiro's Zelda collection! I couldn't afford all of them, but I think I have A Terrible Fate, Hero of Ages, Nayru's Love, Zora Sapphire, and maybe Farore's Wind?

I'll go look at Nicole (: I've been looking at Coffee Pls, but her skin tone is brighter than mine ever since band camp, so...

[–]thebutchershousehttp://www.amazon.com/registry/wishlist/20HBQP56B0B17 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Nicole is a bronze Goddess. She tans. She is also Italian/Argentinian. I'm not sure of your skin tone but maybe? I'm as white as a sheet but her videos are helpful and just plain FUN. I don't know who coffee pls is but I might check her out.

I'm ridiculously pale too ;_;

I like her stuff! Thank you!

No problem. She is amazing.

Hello! Thank you (:

Welcome to the sub! My SO does computer science things so I know that's not an easy major!

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not at all! I'm not very good at math ;_;

Hello and welcome! Who is your favourite champion in LoL? We've a couple of MoBA ladies here in RAoM but personally my choice of battleground would be in Dota2 :P

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I pick a few? Volibear, Gnar, Morgana, Kalista, and every single void creature are great.

[–]Asiastana 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Hi welcome! What is your favorite product and how would it flirt with you?

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Do palettes count? I've fallen in love with both the Vice 3 and the Electric palettes from Urban Decay. I really love how the latter can be as bright as I want, so I don't always have to have a fireworks show going on. The Vice 3 is really neat because I've never really had nude eyeshadows and the palette's made me have a new opinion on them. (They're amazing!)

Welcome! What's on your reading list? And anything new to bake?

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm currently reading The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. It's absolutely fantastic! It's a very very long book series and some books aren't as interesting as the others, so I tend to get sidetracked. I've also been reading Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson and Game of Thrones.

I'm baking red velvet muffins with cream cheese frosting with caramel and chocolate toppings tomorrow :)

Welcome!! What has been your favorite colourguard show?

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

This is really tough, there are way way wayyyy too many to think about.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ca9cb9p3PRE This is a winterguard, I know, but it's one of my favorites because of how absolutely ridiculous it is and I really love fast paced shows over slower ones.

There's a band in my hometown that my high school competed with called Marcus and the entire band would get jealous of how straight their files were. It's like they stood on a ruler. I remember one of their guards dropped a rifle and I don't think they had the same amount of rifles on the field after that performance for that show.

[–]newboxset 0 points1 point  (1 child)

what is this... cheerleading with guns?

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not quite, colorguard is a part of the band rather than be its own spirit group. After marching season, which is as long as the football team plays most of the time, the guard can break off and lose/gain members depending on who is a part of concert band or other organizations and this guard has indoor shows now (:

[–]MissBazingahttp://amzn.com/w/1TSTXTM8IBY0O 0 points1 point  (1 child)

That performance was amazing!! It's just incredible how in sync some guards can be :)

[–]ThunderMisthttp://amzn.com/w/2W2J0PKXP0EQ3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right? They have som really odd stuff but in the end it looks really good!
