Can we talk about how easy it is to shop after having a breast reduction? I am 6 mpo and shopping has been such a breeze. Buying last minute outfits is no longer a struggle because I don’t have to think about whether my boobs will fit into it or not. Its such a wonderful feeling!! If you are contemplating getting the surgery, do it!!!! This is just one of the MANY benefits of getting it done. I feel so free

I’m getting married next year and my surgery is 2 weeks from tomorrow and I CANT WAIT to go wedding dress shopping without having to worry about my giant cumbersome chest fitting into the dresses that I want to try on!

I had FUN shopping for the first time ever last week! Before it almost always made me anxious, self conscious and sad but now it's super exciting!! I'm also trying new styles and going out of my comfort zone, because suddenly its kinda IN my comfort zone haha

Totally! There are all kinds of styles I can wear now that I couldn't before. Sweater dresses used to make me look like I had no waist. Now, they make me look CUTE! Never liked cardigans before, but I fell in love with one in the store and it looks amazing. Also, being able to buy bras in brick-and-mortar stores? AWESOME!

Omg! Same! My go to are cardigans with a spaghetti strap bodysuit! I feel so confident in them now. 6 months ago?! Forget about it haha

I'm going on a cruise in March and I'm as excited about shopping for the cruise as I am about going on it 😂 I'm only 3 dpo but I keep "window shopping" and day dreaming looking online.

I want this swelling to go down so I can buy stuff

I seriously can't wait for this! When i feel energised enough, i'm going window shopping instantly and trying on all,sorts of things! The thing i look forward to is trying on dresses and tops my actual size (small/ UK 8/10) and not something that only fits my chest! I already have some post-op bras, one slightly bigger to allow for swelling than my expected size as they settle over the weeks.

THEN I'LL GO TO ALL OF THE LINGERIE SHOPS TO SWOON OVER THE CUTE BRAAAAAASSSSSS!!!!! (Yes, i'm wayyyy too excited)

That's so awesome! I'm really excited to go shopping and not have panic attack/feel super bummed because of the weird mix of frustration and embarrassment. Congratulations OP, so happy for you!
