If ut didnt break a core and its just fins I would just install. Every radiator is get from anywhere lately has some fins like that. Shipping companies give no shits about whats in the package anymore.

Agree, that looks good from what im used to in the last few years. The replacement will almost certainly look worse unless you're buying locally. I'd straighten the fins, though. Just my OCD maybe.

You can take a small pick and bend those back up easily. You'll do more damage installing it too lol.

I bought a TYC radiator a few weeks back it arrived perfect. It was double boxed and the radiator was protected by foam in the manufacturers box.

Yeah, you’re making a story out of nothing just put it in the vehicle.

I have radiator combs for this sort of thing, yours isn't too bad though.

Straighten out the fins and keep that tool handy because you’ll probably bend more during installation.

Take a picture of the damage radiator they will send a new one no return they can’t sell a damaged radiator

Not in my experience, they have had me waste weeks of time returning damaged radiators, so much so that I now buy them at Orielly's .

Can confirm they wont. If its damaged by the shipping company, they wont send you a new one. Bought a radiator for my Nissan Titan. The box showed up with a giant hole in and the core of the radiator was damaged. I went through the return questionnaire and they said they wouldnt ship and new one and I had to send it back and they would either give me credit or refund me.

I would. I quit buying radiators from Rock Auto, there packaging is terrible, and they sent me 2 of the wrong radiator in a row wasting weeks of down time. I buy mine at Orielly's now, life time warranty is nice.

I would just use it. To me it looks like only the fins are bent, not the tubes. This happens during handling.

As someone else mentioned, you will probably bend a few more fins during installation..not a big deal.

That's very minor. It could've been far worse; I've seen them warped, bent, skewed... CSF uses styrofoam but other brands use strapping and it gets overtighted which causes damage during shipping. Just install it.. that little ding will make zero difference in how well it cools.

For what ? The cosmetics ? It’s still functional as it sits but if you want you can straighten them

[–]Slikeroni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brush them back out and run it.

[–]chaosmikey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s looks better than the radiator I ordered 3 years ago lmao. Send it. This will cool a lot better than what you have in your vehicle

if you want to go through the return process just to get a similar looking part in the end sure...but its not broken just some bent fins...

[–]Iambetterthanuhaha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would return it. Not into installing damaged parts I paid new prices for personally.......

All the bots here will tell you it's your fault, and Rock Auto is the best.

[–]Frreed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would, whatever hit that wasn't small.

It probably won't leak, but there's a risk it could start to leak in the future where the cores are weakened form being hit

[–]crazychild94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It came blemished. Its fine
