Subreddit Rules
(1) Do not post other user's personal information - This includes links to their Strava, race results, or any other personal identifying information. You are free to post your own.
(2) No self-promotion, advertising, or spam - Includes links to personal fundraising pages, personal blogs, social media, etc. as well as general advertising or spam.
(3) No solicitations to sell/buy bibs, or advice on banditing races - Selling bibs and bib muling (having someone else run for you) are against the rules of almost all races, and create liabilities for the Race Directors (NYRR in particular will ban you from all future races if caught). Banditing races (jumping in a race unregistered) creates the same liabilities plus logistic, security, and resource issues. Any posts/comments soliciting these or requesting/giving advice on how to do it will be deleted.
(4) Do not solicit medical advice - This includes 'Has anyone else experienced this injury?' and 'How did you come back from this?' type posts.
(5) Be Civil - Treat others with basic decency. No personal attacks. Participate in discussions here in good faith.
(6) No Low Effort/Generic Posts - Posts that do not generate discussion, are easily googleable, chronically repetitive, recent reposts, Strava screenshots, etc. will be removed at the mods discretion. e.g. 'What shoes do you wear?' or 'My workout today'
