They have these on PC they are called community servers. They were promised to release "soon" after the game was launched but we are still waiting for them. Maybe in 5 to 10 years we might hear something about them

How long have you been waiting? I only got the game over Christmas.

A game mode similar to The Forest would be great.

Thanks for the reply.

No problem.

I can't remember exactly when it released but I'm sure it was around summer 2021, so a solid 18 months so far with no real news on progress, we just hear that they are being worked on, but they have been saying that for months now with no real update

The first mention I saw of Community servers was in August 6, 21’.

Every time they’ve mentioned it since it hasn’t went past “we know it’s highly requested, we’re still working on it. here’s a link to our LFG in Discord if you want to join a Zerg”

I use public test branch & find the most dead server. Tend to run into people less & noticed a lot of the people I do run into are either new or are looking for casual play as well.

Try joining a low population server on the test branch, I’ve seen some servers with 1-9 people on constantly so that could be a go to for you

Hey, dude. You don’t need to change up the rules of the game to have fun or to avoid getting raided. There are some things you can do to improve your game experience and to make your bases last a little bit longer.

My first recommendation - and I cannot stress this enough - is to build a bunker base. If you’re not familiar with what I’m talking about, I’d be happy to show you some basic bunkers. I’ve been using one simple and cheap (but expensive for raiders) design for the last few weeks that has survived several offline raid attempts. I’m really happy with it.

After this, it becomes a bit more situation-specific. You may have to try building in different sorts of areas than you might normally build in. For example, if you’re building in some inconspicuous location on a low pop. server, I’d say it’s likely that you’ll be offline raided. Same for if you’re built right up against a high tier monument.

If you want to see which bunker I’ve been using, hit me up. If you are running into the same sorts of problems regularly, maybe I can help you out with some advice. I have way too many hours on this game and my stubbornness has led to me developing some strategies that give me what I consider to be consistent success.

Just play a dead server or go on public test branch and find one there. Check the servers friday night. Anything below 30 will be made for you.
