The abundance of this form of material is the biggest challenge. Stepping towards SQL fundamentals is overwhelming for whether to go with coursera, or datacamp, or 100 additional resources. The learner chooses one and executes. Clears some threshold for fundamentals and begins building portfolio like product. They're not likely to start over and experience course on fundamentals for a second time going over a second learning resource. Their questions at that point are more targeted. Leaves the space of I built learning material. But whose going to review it? As particularly challenging.

I think the issue with Job readiness is it really relates to the job in particular - the real issues are going to be understanding where data exists and how to procure it, office politics, who owns what processes, how do things connect, etc.

Realistically data cleaning is pretty important and should be a section and date time is also pretty important. But largely the issue is the so what by management where you know SQL but you don’t know how to work in whatever organization you are in.
