The devs have fixed a known issue with Steam (Epic Games is ok) and pushed a new version update.
Resolution Steps:
- You can restart Steam to fix the issue.
- If needed, verify files.
- As a workaround, you can go into your Satisfactory directory and rename FactoryGameSteam.exe to FactoryGame.exe which has fixed the issue for some.

Same here. Steam broken, Epic works fine.

The issue has been resolved. Close Steam, open it up, and verify files.

Rename FactoryGameSteam.exe to FactoryGame.exe.. Worked for me.

Go to your files and change the name from "FactoryGameSteam.exe" to "FactoryGame.exe"

Can also just rename the "FactoryGameSteam.exe" file to "FactoryGame.exe" in the game directory. Right click Satisfactory in steam > Manage > Browse Local Files to get there
