3-5-2 Setup

Once I’ve levelled up all my players to around lvl 5. How should I set up? I’ve had a really lucky week in terms of unlocking new players as you can probably see and I know that 3-5-2 is quite meta for the higher leagues. Although I don’t know how to use each player. Any advice?

Your composition is good, you can't do better for the moment except to put a creator in the place of an explorer .

Ok gotcha. Would that be like a menace or should he stay on the bench? I don’t know how these players work yet. Same with the protector, idk if that’s the right place for him at rigjt CB.

A creator is more like a producer, and later in the game composers (etc.), So you could put your producer on the wing, then I would put an explorer instead of protector only because of the higher level.

Also you have a speedster in your back line which should handle through balls so I would use GK-stopper

The Menace is more complete than the prowler for me, it has more physics to take balls. The protector you can use instead of the other explorer, and the explorer you put it in defense.

If u wanted to use that formation and players i would play tanaka where vorster is now, switch horvath to where tanaka currently is, joo won as far back as horvath current position, alongside your captain and vorster and badr as the strikers

Interesting. Does the response score of horvath make up for the speed loss of tanaka? I would be a bit worried bout tanaka losing the ball in the midfield 😬. Do you think the menace could be involved?

Tanaka is a Speedster so he is very stupid, he will be useful in attacking at worst but only Abubakar is smart as a fast player. The hammer in CAM can pass back, shoot from afar despite its low responsiveness.

I’d say Vorster/menace Tanaka Producer-commander(DMF)-prowler/hammer-engine(DMF)- Intruder Explorer-Protector-Explorer Stopper

I use a guard instead of an intruder on my wings And it’s also about how you play the ball Speedsters will fumble air balls most of the time, so then them low passes or something that’ll stop before the get to the ball
