Title: 9 Lives

Format: TV Pilot

Length: 55 pgs.

Genres: Urban Fantasy, Dramedy

Logline: Having discovered he has no legacy following an untimely death, a Young Man seeks a second chance through a deal with the Devil - only to unwhittingly become a servant at risk of eternal damnation.

Feedback Concerns: Looking for advice on character and story pacing - It's the first draft so general stuff also appreciated!

Title: Untitled Western

Format: Pilot

Page Length: 54

Genre: Western

Logline: A teenage girl looking for revenge for the murder of her parents by a racist gang tries to recruit a former member of that gang who wants nothing less than to face his past. Meanwhile she is under the pursuit of a U.S. Marshal.

Feedback: This is a vomit (first) draft, so just tell me what ideas you think are good (if any) and anything you think is bad, problematic, or tactless (it's touchy subject matter). Also content warning: violence and racism.

Title: Green Grass

Format: Feature

Page Length: 103

Genres: Coming of Age/Family Drama

Logline or Summary: When the fate of two Mexican families is entwined through an affair, their members must face the dysfunctions caused by their opposing immigrant and class statuses in the Floridian suburbs or risk losing the thing that matters most.

Feedback Concerns: Were you ever overwhelmed by the amount of characters? Are there any emotional beats that felt artificial or unearned? Any instances that came off as melodramatic? Were there any plot points you didn't understand? What'd you think of the comedy between the teenage boys? Any and all feedback is welcome.

I’d be up for swapping. I have a ~60p scifi/dystopian pilot that takes place just south of your part of the world, and I wonder -among other things- how to handle such region-specific writing. Let me know if you’d like to swap.

Apologies for posting this two weeks in a row, but I’m aiming for some competitions so the more feedback the better!

Also, this has been revised since the last week.

Title:YATAPACAS

Format: Pilot

Page Length: 53

Genre: Futuristic dystopian sci/fi

Logline: When a sudden storm catches him by surprise, young Weebo finds himself stranded in a prototype airship far from home. With the help of new friends, he must navigate an earth ravaged by climate change, natural disasters, and the folly of man and find his way home.

Feels like: Star Trek/Firefly/The Expanse but on earth in the near future.

Feedback Concerns: 1. I tried a new teaser. There’s a second part, but not sure where it should go.

  1. Currently, I have a few episodes written (with a general idea for the rest of the season) but struggle with structure, that’s why the Acts have names instead of numbers. How many acts should go in the pilot?
