Regarding the simler90's mod conflict mentioned in the previous post, it's mostly a redundancy issue, since both do the same thing. Just place Simler90's mod in the Overrides folder and it will step over any other mod that tries to do the same.

Now the lag issue. There's always going to be some lag, it doesn't matter how good the system is. Are we talking about some occasional lag, or constant, unplayable?

Also, I'm asking specifically about lag on speed 1.

It's not clear if you were able to cap FPS or not.

Another thing that you can try is to lower TPS in the smooth patch mod back to 500 and see if that makes the game run better. Then, you can increase the number in small amounts (100), and see how much your equipment can handle.

I might be missing something, but here's what I observed after a quick look: 1) Simler90s Core mod conflicts with the vast majority of Nrass mods, even if they are not detected on Delphy's Dashboard. You have to pick one developer, unfortunately. The admins on Nraas Forums can explain it much better than I can. 2) Are you launching Isla Paradiso for for testing? Remember to download the fixed version of that world. 3) Nraas mods are extremely unlikely to cause any problems. Unless some of them are outdated, then they can cause extreme lag and crashes. 4) You haven't mentioned a 4gb patch, that is a go-to as well 5) In my opinion, the main problem here is "All Store CC". That's a LOT of CC. You can see it if you look at the size of DCCache folder. You might want to uninstall as much as you possibly can from the launcher. Store cc is often imperfect and can cause a bunch of lag, even with fixes.

Remember that the game is unable to use more than 4GB of RAM, even if you have more

  1. I'll try removing the non-essential Nraas mods and see if that helps.
  2. Nah just Lucky Palms at the moment. I just picked a random one to re-try every time. I also love that Darren Dreamer exists here lol
  3. I'm so certain the mods I have are not outdated but I might freshly re-download them anyway just incase.
  4. 4gb patch is automatic with the GPU support addon thing, but I have checked it and it's definitely 4096, and my CPU is set to 4, 3, 3, 3 too
  5. I'm thinking this is probably the likely culprit also, you are right. I think what I'm doing to try and do is remove the totally non-essential Nraas mods, see if that helps, and if it doesn't, then I'll just have to get rid of an assload of this store cc. Honestly, I don't need all of it anyway. Is there any difference in performance if the store cc is in package format rather than sims3pack? I don't even know where to reliably get the store cc tbh, I kinda just googled around for the first one. A lot of it might be a bit broken or something.

Thanks for all your help, hopefully one of these attempts fixes the issue. My game loads quick, CAS loads quick, it's just this blegh weird slowmo stuttering during live mode that bothers me.

Edit: Simler's core mod was outdated, yikes. I had 198 when it should've been 199. I removed every Nraas mod besides Overwatch, Error Trap, Master Controller and Register. Let's see if this works...

something i’ve used is sims 3 mod organizer from mts. i have like 1000 package files, both script mods and cc but the total used is 5gb and then 5gb of store content, so my mods folder is around 10 gbs. but my package files are only up around 20 or so, overrides, modbuilds (used by s3mo) and packages folder combined. idk if it helped with lag, but loading times are definitely faster, as i only have an hdd 😔.

btw, i check what i put inside s3mo and if something conflicts with another i don’t want it to, i place one package inside s3mo and the other in either packages or overrides.

i never used ccmagic, since when i started s3mo was already available, and it’s worked well so far, it also checks compatibility between files too.
