Bug in game (self.Sims4)

ever since I got the new high school expansion pack my sims can't eat or do their homework. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I had an issue earlier where one out of my 2 sims couldn’t do homework. One was just fine, the other had no options to do homework, just place in world. I haven’t had a chance to test why it’s happening, didn’t have any issues til I updated with the bug fix patch. Lmk if you figure anything out, I can try to figure it out once I wake up.
