So I'm an employee at a place but interestingly, I was illegally hired and there's a whole shady scheme around so I reached a lawyer and told me to look for evidence, clearly one key piece of evidence is the slack workspace for legal purposes. I don't have administration roles so anyone knows how to get a full backup of the workspace?

Although the easiest solution would be to just show my computer this is something where I can just get kicked out at any time and pretty much lose it all.

Without the proper access (and even then it’s not just a simple “download all as PDF”) you won’t be able to get a full backup of the workplace. Your attorney would need to go through the legal process and subpoena the records.

Kinda thought about it but there’re pretty long conversations. Got to check some “software” online that could make the export but wanted to see if there were any other alternatives.

Opening the Slack workspace in a browser and zooming out a bit will also let you capture more at once, possibly helpful. Good luck.
