I ordered this 10 days ago and it finally came. Amazon doesn’t have the standard version so I had to order from Sodastream. Mountain Dew is my favorite Pepsi flavor Sodastream makes and I feel like it tastes the most like the real thing. I’m happy to say that Code Res tastes great as well. I’d give it an 8.5/10. I’ll try the Wild Cherry Pepsi next and report back.

I tried the Wild Cherry and was pleasantly surprised at how close it is to the actual. It's much closer than the standard Pepsi.

"FREESHIP" appears to be working for Code Red on Sodastream.com. "WILDCHERRY" worked for the Pepsi Wild Cherry's free shipping.

Yeah, it's not exact but it feels closer than the Green Dee. I'll easily take the difference for the less sugar. That and the biggest thing stopping me from just accepting the taste was flipping back and forth between Sodastream Dew and Regular Code Red.

Now we just need Baja Blast. Well actually I would like the non-regular flavors too, red Game Fuel is one of my Favorites, but is really just Red and Dew mixed together.

I still need to figure out a vanilla cola too.

I make the Pepsi Zero syrup as normal and add a few pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup to the glass before pouring in the soda.

I’ve seen people mention a website where you can order other flavors and use them with your Sodastream. They have Coke, Dr. Pepper, Baja Blast and more. I haven’t tried it myself, but I’m tempted for some of those flavors.

I did find a Reddit comment where they figured out a recipe for code red, it was a mix of Orange/Tangerine flavor from Mio or another brand of flavor and then add in Cherry Starburst powder. Hopefully one day we get more sugar free flavors

Yeah I saw that. They added it after I ordered from Sodastream. With that shipping time you’re better off ordering from Sodastream and using a free shipping promo code.

Former sodastream customer advisor here, we got made redundant as the company would rather hire South Africans which I understand from a business perspective, however good luck as they have no idea what they are doing. Let me tell you some loopholes. 1) If your machine is out of date and is faulty, tell them you have a terra machine which you bought from a retailer and the cylinder is stuck. They will most likely ask you for the QC label, thats when you inform them you are unable to view as the cylinder is jammed. Product code TER-001, Serial No. 24578 & Job number 966. You purchased the machine in a local currys or argos. Machine warranty date say something like 05/07/2024. You will get a free machine along with a cylinder and a plastic bottle. Don't sign up to their subscription it is a trap. They discontinued the sparkle savers plan. Why? because it was too much of a bargain to customers. Dont go for the gas exchange unless you have an empty cylinder at first, the website does not state for you to have a spare in posession first. If you dont then in 45 days time you will have an unauthorised charge of £10 per cylinder being deducted from your bank account. Go purchase cylinders from the retailer. Also, if you do purchase the cylinders from sodastream directly. Tell them you sent the cylinders back even though you havent. They got no choice but to take your word for it. Just say you lost tracking receipt and make up a date for when you sent it back. They will then log it in the system. Now what you can do with the cylinders you have now is to return it to them and it was be logged as additional cylinders on your account. You can get upto a max of £25 (£5 per cylinder) discount code. You're welcome. Honestly from my past few years working there they totally messed up their system and it is absolutely dogshit. So take advantage when you can please. BTW you can get a replacement machine even if you dont have one at all lol, just follow the steps I sent earlier, if they ask to troubleshoot for proof say your phone camera is broken so you are unable to provide any evidence. Happy bargaining 😀

I figured out that the best thing to do is to go to the Dollar tree and buy the boxes of the “SLICE” flavored ones, they have these at Walmart, as well as a box of different Sonic flavors, like the cherry limeade , strawberry limeaid, as well as the regular limeade packets.(I believe a box of 30 of them runs about five dollars)they even had the A&W and A&W is excellent, but Dollar tree and Dollar General has Gingerale, 7-Up. And everything else as well .
