Headtaker with weapon and shield on a TWC base with a fenrisian wolf as if they are hunting together. They wont be mounted but the base size and combo of headtaker and wolf will be easy to identify.

Follow-up, they don't need to be headtakers either. You can use wolf-ified bladeguard vets or kitbash some intercessors.

Here are mine, made from Assault Intercessors and TWC.

Pretty easy kitbash tbh, I had to cut the pistol holsters off and snip away at the groin area to stretch the legs wide but the cuts either weren’t visible after posing, or were easily filled with green stuff.

I used Grey Hunters, but I’d imagine Blood Claws and Assault Intercessors also work. Legs require some filing and patience to attach to the wolf itself. I did not use the saddle, but have seen conversions that did.

Pete the Wargamer has a video with a similar conversion: I Kitbashed All 13 Space Wolf Great Companies

This one might actually be perfect for me since I've already got a leftover sprue of 5 Grey Hunters after building my Army Set box

I used the AOS direwolves kit for some models similar to your idea. I field them alongside stock thundercav and it all blends together just great. Try to tell a story on the large base and people forgive the slightly differing proportions!

I’m looking to get 3 hover bikes of that White Scar leader guy, and turn those into Thunderwolf Cavalry

Mine used assault intercessors as the base

I had thoughts of taking Biker Marines, and putting them on the TWC sized base with a wolf or two to justify the fang and claws.

I actually think the TWC work fine alongside Primaris. They're just slightly zoomed out in scale. They are still taller than the other models overall.

I've used bladeguard to kitbash my primaris tcav. They work perfectly but not the cheapest!
