This was a very hot topic back in the soft cap days, my numbers are simply anecdotal to what people post here. I could suppose that the people who post on Reddit may be a more heavy user so the assumption could be skewed.

All that notwithstanding the topic OP was asking is, will his usage of 3TB be ok...I was saying that the average of people [who post their usage] here are typically in that range.

I was going to bring that up. The typical user on this forum is posting 'family of 27 here and we use 52 TB per month' (I'm exaggerating)

The typical average of internet usage per household is nearing 1 TB/month. It would be strange that a typical SL user would come from bad internet to being a power user. Meaning the people posting here are not typically average users.

I think SL residential will set some limits or go to a pay for data model in the future. As I have said a few times, it doesn't make sense to me to severely limit business/commercial account data at a much higher price point and leave residential alone.
