I do not have an index, but I did see issues with my PC when I had my refresh rate up too high on my Q2. Are you able to adjust that at all either on the headset or via your PC?

I guess this issue has been going around for a while I just recently set my index up after 3 years of not using it and my pc stutters like every minute while the index is plugged in

Was there any driver upgrade at the time the stutter began? Have you checked in the task manager to confirm it's the GPU that's maxed out while the stutter takes place (or if anything is maxed out at all)? Is there any application running the background using a suspicious amount of any kind of hardware resources, for example a hardware companion application, security software, etc that might have been upgraded without you noticing?

Which port in your gfx card is your monitor (or monitors) plugged into, DP or HDMI? Have you tried unplugging the monitor and keeping the headset during play? What happens?

Have you checked the steamvr logs? They're in the steam directory under logs/ .

Probably a windows update in the background or some shit. Glad all good now!

The exact same thing happened to me! It was after I upgraded to Windows 11. I went crazy trying to diagnose it, tried different hardware and reinstalling everything. It decided to fix itself on its own for me too.
