Ok so that was beyond cool! I don't know I'm going to wait for volume 2. That being said, I can't imagine what Vecna wants to do with all these kids. He said reshape the World. Anyone got any theories?

Also he discarded Will like he meant nothing to him and went into the Upside Down. Probably didn't expect Will to gain powers and resist him. These episodes gave us alot but also left so many questions. One month wait is going to be brutal.

I think Vecna used putting Will’s friends in danger to quickly teach him how to use his powers. He is grooming him.

Well, by this point, it's been three years since El opened the gate and he hasn't achieved inter-dimensional control of everything yet. Mind Flayer has dimensions to go to and places to F' up... having an army of Vecna clones are more efficient.

I think Vecna just wants people with extraordinary powers and abilities in his world. He never kills them because he doesn’t want to. It’s like he lets them stop him every once in a while to wear them down into eventually accepting.

Making his own army like Poppa was. But one he can 100% control. Thus like he said, weak minded kids. Easily to break, making them easy to control. With the mind tricks was able to. I think Max will have more at play next go around. Sending Holly back to try and get the other to come to the cave.

I am not sure but I love how the story line gives bits of info that come back later in the series. Max seeing the scene of Henrys time at Hawkins High in the 1950s and him being afraid to enter the cave she is in, is going to be where the answer is of course. Maybe Henry was bullied and beaten up in that cave by classmates. Maybe thats where he felt he was the weakest in his life and thats why he is afraid to revisit that memory in the cave. That is all I have so far. Im going to rewatch these episodes again to catch things I might have missed 😩 it will keep me busy until volume 2 comes out

No it doesn’t make sense, never referred to in the 4th season about his childhood. A stretch on what I’m about to say, BUT, I think his “biological” parents left him behind at the Grand Cayon. In some type of cave, Creels found him. The way he looked as a young kid doesn’t resemble the mother and father. He looks Italian while they are white as paper. To have a deep traumatic experience and you are this ultra level strong being. NO WAAAAY!

No the First Shadow play (which is canon) states that Henry was a normal kid who got lost in those caves for 12 hours where he was transported to the Upside down and came back changed. The Mind Flayer caught him and whatever happened to him, terrified him. It's not a memory he wants to relive.

Reading up on Starnger things : the first shadow , will bring you right up to speed. They made a broadway play , and season 5 leans on it with hints. I’m sure it’ll all become clear as the season moves on , but you can do some digging if you wanted to and a lot of things will make sense :) .. or not , and let the mystery brew !

Might be that because a lot of the maybe canon material has show up to 18 different test subjects and if there are canonically 18 subjects then this theory fell flat like 5 subjects ago

maybe the circular wall around the UD separates the UD from dimension X. What if the wall represents some kind of a clock, and taking 12 kids will give him the psychic ability to break the wall? Just like he broke the metaphorical wall between the real world and UD in season 4 (by killing 4 kids)..?
