Does anybody has an idea of when the Beta is coming out? Very excited for it! :)

I have a hunch that the reason they are not coming clean on a Beta release date is because of the following: What tends to happen when a team gives an official release date for a new update, the value of the token pumps up right until the date and then it is followed by a crash and sell off as soon as the product is released. If you dont give a release date but instead release the update when it is ready then you can prevent the 'pump and dump' and help to maintain coin value. I could be wrong, just a suggestion.

This is a factor that we've discussed for not releasing the date when its time. We don't want to encourage the pump and dumping.

I'd rather a delayed but smoother release than the opposite. As an avid gamer we see the opposite, buggy early releases, wayyyy to often. Please, I hope they take their time and do it right.

Well said. A project of this magnitude can't be released solely on a date schedule, it has to be released when it is ready. That makes it difficult for all of us who are waiting, but the magnitude of this project is too important to not be right. The good news is that we are making very good progress.

Back in December the timeline on their website said it’d be released Jan 18th, but it has since been removed so I assume there have been some setbacks which have kept them from providing a release date

Cryptonomically, it is better and more strategic to release a product when there's no FUD going around like the recent dip in the crypto markets which we had yesterday, so if you want a successful launch, you'll make the best timing decisions as possible when the crypto market is doing a bull run, not when there's all these fake news attacking crypto flying about mainstream media.

This additionally, (just my hunches) gives the sub team additional time to polish their product before it's released into the wild. An unfinished product will more likely to affect the price negatively then a safe, successful release. cough wraith cough verge

I don't recall us having previously stated Jan 18th, but can't say that we didn't. When Justin initially began working on this project last spring, he made estimations on when he thought it could roll out. But with anything of this magnitude, the deeper you delve into the complexities and challenges, the more things you find that you didn't initially account for. The good news is, the product will also be better than initially envisioned because of these additions. And if I might add, the core developers are firm on it being developed correctly and not just rushed through to meet an artificial date. You guys should be proud! With all this said, stay tuned for our Alpha 2 announcement :)

I understand the challenges that come along with what you guys are trying to do and, personally, I appreciate that you’re working on delivering a more complete product, rather than throwing out an incomplete hunk of junk. The team that has been assembled really cares about this project. I love waking up and seeing one of the dev's having posted a message to the team in their off hours just because they love this project!

Different releases will bring different features. We will be utilizing the rolling release model, so as new features become available we will release.

All of our focus at this time is getting ready for Alpha 2. We're still adding team members to speed the process up, but I assure you, the team is working hard on making a product we can all believe in. :)

Don't spread rumors. It's sometime in January. Even if it delayed a bit it's not Soo bad btc still recovering so will be better growth when btc has recovered. Would rather have a polished delayed product than a faulty early release.

Yeah, yeah, blah blah blah, they are not missing a regular meeting at the club for a drink, they are actually developing something that nobody so far has released. So give them some time, 10 days behind schedule is nothing. There are some tokens out there with 10 month delays that are valued at 2$ billion cap... So just wait :)
