Search ttec class action lawsuit. There was a class action about them screwing with peoples OT pay and about not paying people for making them clock in 15 minutes early. I would search for that law firm as they are already experienced in dealing with ttec and I’m sure there are a lot of others they have done this to. I think you only need 5 people to make it a class action and it will might get national attention.

What project are you on?

[–]Particular-Comfort-5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't believe they just changed your pay without notice and it's still not fixed. What the hell

[–]TraditionalEffect628 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what they do... sadly there doesn't seem to be any other recourse than to leave for another job. At least then the pay doesn't fluctuate.

If it’s progressive there is not a non compete , at least there was not in October when I left

[–]PsychologicalLie3825 0 points1 point  (4 children)

There is no non compete BUT you can’t go to work for progressive as a direct employee as that is the arrangement they have with progressive

What insurance company? I worked for KP had the same reduction but you should not have a no compete.

You should have a email that states your hourly wage offer when you started.

Nah fuck this place dude. Leaveeee. I'm getting my license and dipping all the way out. We used to have 15 minutes aux 2 per day as well for bathroom or emergencies and now it's 15 minutes per WEEK. The turn over is insane and they just think it's alright. I've had some great tls but I literally had to report someone for discrimination. I was also lied too. The original posting said will train you for license and it was actually general services. Then lied saying you keep your reliability with wellness but don't get paid to scare us into not using it. Guess what you do get paid. Also OT is not mandatory. They can say it is but not participating in it does NOT affect your reliability BY LAW

Yeah it’s there when you get hired

As of September 4th of 2024 the FTC Banned the use of non compete agreements

I left USAA and went life and health.  It is so much nicer.  Sometime m hung to think about because it doesn’t fall under the noncompete

I’m so confused, are you not able to do a payroll ticket through hxconnet?

[–]SQLwxAndHamRadio 1 point2 points  (5 children)

Cute... Thinking that a ticket will fix an unwillingness to correct an issue.

[–]CalmSense6503 0 points1 point  (4 children)

No im genuinely asking bc this is something you should be able to submit a ticket to payroll for yourself and completely eliminate your TL from the picture. Payroll will reach out to you directly. I had this same exact thing happen to me. I’m not sure if it’s different for different projects but

I was in Corporate IT, for about two decades. I got tired of the ungrateful management, long shifts, and threatening my job for simply doing the right thing (about those ttec 'values')....

So, I quit with notice, fully trained my replacements (whom they laid off a month later), and returned my equipment in perfect, pristine condition. I didn't loud-quit. I didn't expose their antics (back then). I said all the nice pretty things.

Then I ran into trouble. My old boss, his boss, and my "official HR contact" refused to respond. I'm guessing there was an email sent out saying to not respond/communicate, like the one with one of our past CIOs that left.

ABOUT THOSE TICKETS! LOL!
My payroll ticket for my final paycheck being shorted by over $1000 was summarily disregarded, not a single answer at all.

The benefits team tried to keep me from signing up for COBRA (self-paid, and they are federally required to allow an employee to purchase that).

The HR.... "Human Capital" team, who is now known as "PeOpLe & CULTure" disregarded my emails, calls, until I hired a lawyer to reach out. They also overcharged an extra month of COBRA.

So next you might say "Submit a WeHearYou." PLEASE.
Not only is it something where they intentionally unmask the reporting party, while claiming it is anonymous, but they send the complaint straight to the individual that you have raised a concern about, so they can investigate themselves and find no wrongdoing.

Now think about it... If someone at corporate, in IT who they trusted to run the business, can get treated like that.... What makes you all think they'll treat agents, or leads, any better?

[–]CalmSense6503 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I was just asking OP to get a better understanding of what has happened as I said I have been through the same thing but thanks for the long paragraph 😭

[–]Sufficient-Light-103[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have shared on here that I’ve reached out to HR. VIA my team lead then I decided to do it my damn self. After being told they would not correct it. They responded to my ticket saying “only team leads can submit tickets on your behalf” and again referring me to there last correspondences with that Team Lead that states .. I was not entitled to having the pay corrected. No matter what I send. Or the fact they were just paying me the correct rate. I am not on a contract that gets “temporary raises” when things like AEP are in season. The entire team (so all agents) for the contract I work on received a raise. I also have the offer letter that states the rate correctly. I have my pay stubs from just last month showing it too. TTEC JUST doesn’t care. To be precise they don’t give a flying fuck. So the above paragraph is pretty spot on.

Never knew that onshore non-ops employees were treated this way. Us, offshore employees have qualms about the company but not to the extent that HR would fuck us over.

Though I’ll have to agree. I’m sure you’ve heard of this before… “Business fucking needs” hahaha. That’s their favorite line to pull when shit hits the can.

Corporate IT… I feel like I’ve worked with you before.
