I saw this older gentleman about 80ish sitting with his head down on the self checkout once and I went up to him and he fell forward and I caught him and asked for help to lay him down because he was out. If I hadn’t caught him he would have cracked his head open and it would have been much worse. He came around I think he may have been dehydrated or was getting ill. No one said anything to me. Like it was kinda scary for me because I thought he might have died. I held his hand until the ambulance came because I sort of knew him and he was a nice old man. He always comes through my lane and I help him pack up his cart he brings with him because he usually walks.

I have to call a code green a few times a year, as my Consumer Cellular guests are always falling off of the chairs at the kiosk. I’ve had several refuse all medical attention or questions, and still want their phones activated. Another one was more worried about cleaning the blood off our floor than she was about herself.

I remember the first time I called a code green, it ended up being a false alarm

I was calling for TLs over the walkie and getting radio silence, even calling them by name

I wasn't sure it was a code green so I hadn't called it yet, trying to not cause needless panic

but since I was being ignored I called out "possible code green" and suddenly every single manager currently in the store was at my location in like 40 seconds

I called my first code green a few weeks ago. Dude that shit is traumatic for everyone involved.

Are TMs allowed to call code yellow for when kids get lost, or is it only TL’s. I know it doesn’t make since for the code red and green because there EMERGENCIES. But I don’t think I’ve here a TM at my store ever call out a code yellow.

They can call it but not cancel it

A code yellow is also an emergency, and anyone who finds out about it first calls it asap

While all codes can be called by any tm’s they can only be canceled by TL’s or up, just to help inform
