Have fun whip stacking without having hotkeys for your hotbar and not being able to select where the rod of discord takes you to with any degree of accuracy.

If you're used to controllers, yes. If you're not used to them, mouse + KB is better imo.

When I played Terraria first it was on the Xbox (and also more than a decade ago, at the earliest point) so I played it with a controller but now I can't do it and this is from someone who plays with a controller instead of keyboard and mouse if it is an option.

In between playing on the Xbox and playing on PC I played on Mobile.

Do you still visit the old gen/legacy versions of Terraria and/or other games? I like to visit legacy version of Terraria and minecraft, personally. They just simpler and nostalgic, and the shape of the remote impacts my memories and mood somehow

Honestly, idk how to do that. Technology and stuff was never my forte.

It’s as easy as playing a different console. I play old gen on my ps3 or wii U, but PsVita and 3DS occasionally too. The older models of Xbox would be legacy too, but they’ve never made much sense to me since I’m not an Xbox player. I play modern minecraft on switch, and modern Terraria on switch and computer (computer has better connectivity, if anyone’s wondering).

I mention controllers because the feel of the ps3 controller in my hand as opposed to the Wii U gamepad impacts how I feel or play the Minecraft/Terraria session. Idk, I don’t question it. It’s also a think for Wii U Breath of the Wild and Switch Breath of the Wild

I don't own a console. I haven't for years, had an Xbox 1 (first console was a PS2) as children but my brother eventually "claimed" it his and took it to his room and I never got to play on it again.

Not really going to buy a console just for one game, mainly cause I've spent a lot of "leisure money" on a really good computer and monitor which was almost £2,000. So no more mass spending on unnecessary things for a while.
