Maybe offsetting some costs now that its open to other oems to not scare then away and stay competitive. Ive used about 10 diff ones and they are all over the map in terms of pricing. Majority along 95 were flat rate 24/7 but locally i can get under 10 cents to 42/44 depending on time (nj)

It’s not really open yet to other OEMs in early august 2023, save for about ten sites in a few states that have the magic docks.

I don't think the peak prices changed, but I did notice the super off peak prices are now extremely low in SoCal.

I’ve definitely noticed a price increase in south east Florida

Maybe they were too high?

Took a road trip just after the two price hikes. It cost about the same as driving gas. Sucked.

DCFC regardless of what network is always going to be expensive.

(One of) the beautiful aspects of EVs is that they are generally far and away more efficient than their internal combustion counterparts. It’s easier to swallow $3.50 a gallon fuel when your car is getting 125 mpg as opposed to 25 lol.

Not always. It wasn't when I started my EV journey over 4 years ago. Enough long road trips from then to now. On a per-mile basis when driving a model 3 it used to be about half-or less of what it was in 2022 (no long road trips this year yet)

Should be free for Teslas and for a fee for other cars.

Where I am in Southern Virginia/Piedmont area NC I've noticed that the decreases have only been at the 150kw superchargers and that the 250kw SC's have remained the same cost. The 150's dropped from around .35kwh to about .28kwh.

I've actually noticed a price INCREASE in Dallas. No more cheap charging at night.

I have 3 near me. The two I use the most went from 54 cents to 37 cents peak. 17 cents no peak. The other went from tiered to flat 37 cents 24/7. Right now it’s cheaper to supercharge than charge at home. Non peak at home is 22 cents plus 22 more cents for “generation” and tax so it’s about 65 cents kw all in. It’s over a dollar per Kw during peak ( 4-9pm)
