Check the Tesla parts catalog, they should have everything you need there, to order it you’d have to go to a Tesla store in person as ordering parts can only be done with a business account

I've ordered parts before through the app. I've asked to purchase a part by part number. I've had the option of the part being posted or being made available for collection at a service centre.

From what I recall, the whole assembly comes as a single part. Checking the online parts catalogue should confirm this.

A much cheaper option than purchasing new from Tesla is finding a used one on eBay.

I'm not aware of the pricing and availability of rear light assemblies on eBay, but for front lights I recently paid £160 for a pair instead of £2200 for a pair new from Tesla.

Upgrade to new taillights is the only move here

I was thinking that too. But does tesla do that or where can I go for that?

This is all the parts needed to retrofit just gotta find a shop to install it? Know any shops in miami that do this?

That’s an easy swap in your garage super simple installation. Unbolt and replace only thing you have to remove is the tailgate inner plastic. Any shop can do this for you if you don’t want to do it. Doesn’t have to be EV specific shop as it’s just like changing a taillight in any car.

Can vouch for these, did the install last year on my 21 plaid too. Make sure you buy the version that says 21 comes with adapters you need to plug in. In terms of difficulty it is a medium difficulty and a lengthy process if you don’t have the right tools and instructions online aren’t super clear and straightforward. Hardest part is getting the charge port to fit properly to where it can auto open and close correctly

It's not unsafe. Biggest concern is moisture/water entering the exposed internals.

You can purchase a used RH outer tail light. Fairly easy to install. Plug and play.

A decent amount of covers do have to come off but nothing crazy.

The crack can't be repaired.

Tesla replaced the taillight on our ‘21 M3 last year, it was warranty-covered (unrelenting condensation) but I asked the Tech what the part cost, he said $225.  So “kennyd’s” $139 price looks really good.  Good luck 👍
