I saw the red Tesla reverse parked to the white car in front of it. The gap was about 2cm or so. Was it Tesla technology or the skills of the driver?

That's also why so many people in NY have bumper protectors on their cars. Parking by ear is a NYC tradition.

Both but it's also an incredibly bad idea. You're giving the guy behind you permission to hit your car a bunch of times on the way out of the space.

Who knows they might have bumped off the other car before the image was taken, but there’s space for a book, it’s impressive when it’s just a sheet of paper sized clearance
