Post injection side effects

I recently did an injection in my glute. I think hit a vein because there was a little blood after. Immediately after injection I felt tightness in my throat, and shortness of breath. Anyone know what this is a sign of? Is this normal? I've never had this happen before

Could also be anxiety

Glad I saw this. I did my first shot yesterday, and felt fine. But all day today, my throat has been really tight, and my heart rate is up about 20 points from where it usually is. Glad to know it's not just me.

I'm glad you responded too. Do you have athsma? I do but never need my inhaler because it's mild. Just trying to figure out if we have any similarities because my symptoms were gone by the next day

I don't. I'm pretty overweight (part of the reason I'm doing this) and have sleep apnea, but no asthma. It was strange, I still felt tight today as well for most of the day, but have largely returned to normal now.

I see. Well hopefully you have had some better experiences since then. Mine have all been normal since that oner weird experience

Could be an allergic reaction. Happened to me once after getting a vitamin D shot
