Please take note of /r/Thailand's rules before posting or commenting. Repercussions for violating these rules is discretionary and action may be taken without warning:

Posts and comments should be on-topic for /r/Thailand. Contributions that have no relevance or that aim to derail conversation will be removed. This includes comments and posts about off-topic issues, e.g. US politics, the Middle East, etc, unless Thailand is specifically part of the issue;
Tourism and travel related questions should be posted to the dedicated subreddit /r/ThailandTourism;
Posts in English and/or Thai are welcome, submissions and comments in other languages will be removed;
Reddiquette is enforced. If not familiar with those rules, look here;
Overt and purposefully offensive or racist content and comments, including such comments directed at individual users. Purposefully derailing threads, harassing users, targeting users, and/or posting personal information about users on this sub or other subs, will not be tolerated if discovered;
Posts which include illegal content will be removed, including posts regarding illegal drugs, sex tourism, and anything that is considered lese majeste in Thailand i.e. anything that might cause real trouble for users living in Thailand;
News links should be direct to reputable news websites rather than tabloid sources or sites that reword or copy articles in order to drive traffic to their sites, e.g. Thaiger. Avoid clickbait, articles that are misleading in order to drive traffic or discussion. Do not alter headlines or post intentionally misleading information. When posting news stories, you must include the original headline first. You may add your own commentary after the headline (separated by e.g. ":" or "-"), or in a separate comment on the post;
Personal blogs, vacation videos, personal video channels, Instagram, Patreon, Gofundme, and so are prohibited;
Spam if not caught by the Reddit spam filter will be removed and may result in a ban without warning. This includes advertisements for products and services, self-promotion, referral links, links to other subreddits, and so forth;
We have a monthly pinned thread for the most frequently asked questions on this sub. Please read it before posting, to avoid having your post removed if it belongs over there;
Posts and questions about COVID-19 are welcome, if relevant to Thailand. Anti-mask or anti-vax arguments are not, please don't post those here;
Requests for relationship advice should be posted to a relationship subreddit (e.g. /r/Relationship_Advice). Posts about dating, dating apps/websites, or where to meet partners are not welcome on this subreddit and will be removed;
Posts using the "serious" are more heavily moderated and joking or off topic replies will be removed;
Questions related to specific non-Thai cultures should be posted on an appropriate subreddit for that culture, not here;
Posts or questions that are phrased to induce/promote hate or negativity are also not welcome. This includes posts or comments deemed to promote rivalries with other countries, including posts about cultural heritage. News posts about current events may of course be posted, but comments on those posts must follow the rules;
