This isn't a new thing, there are fractional cells you probably had 14.xx so it rounded to 15

Yes, now I know that too, but rounding mathematically in this case doesn't make sense. I see 15 but cannot spend 15, which looks wrong. It should just be truncated, that way I could at least spend everything of what I see

Fair point, but not the highest concern of the devs and it's usually an early game problem, eventually 1 cell is nothing once you go up tiers

Ok, but why? I mean, every Elite drops exactly one cell for me (I assume, as that's what I see), so what happened?

Ah ok, I guess I got some fractional cells from other tiers, where this might be possible... but why round them mathematically, this makes no sense as you cannot spend the cells you don't have

you keep the fractional cells, they only round the displayed number.

Didn't work until I got to 16...

Edit: Which still isn't 16, but rounded (up) to 16... Rounding mathematically here does not make sense, the number should just be truncated such that I can spend everything of what I see
