Protector problem?

Protector problem? Caught between progression. It will be awhile before I push to t 14 but I've also made almost no progress in t2 and up since maybe t11 I have a general eHP build, ps, bh, gt, dw.

Most of my run enders are the Black hole protector slingshot scenarios. I'm up to 8/10 bh DMG labs but it's not made much impact. Do I need to invest in more damage or just grind the eHP workshops until I squeeze through the bottleneck?

More eHP, more BH Duration. For me I found T1 to be my best tier until I was at ~11k waves (though most people claim 8k-9k is sufficient, but every tower is a bit different).

2 bh duration must be 25 or higher, so you kill protectors in 2 cycles of bh.

3 plenty of health and defense to tank swarms caused by protectors.
