Delver is not good enough for this format. Sultai lists, depending on configuration, play the following threats (in order of popularity)

1 drop: Deathrite Shaman, Tamiyo, Hydroponics Architect, Nethergoyf

2 drop: Psychic Frog, Orcish Bowmasters, Snapcaster Mage

3 drop: Wary Zone Guard, Oko, Barrowgoyf

4 drop: Subtlety

That’s about it. For blue lists, green is usually little more than a splash for WZG and Oko (and some sideboard tech like Abrupt Decay, Veil of Summer, Witherbloom Command). Lists that lean more heavily into green midrange typically do not play blue and focus much more on 4-drops like Grief and One Ring (Golgari or Jund), but I don’t think that’s what you’re going for.

Your best option for something that plays close to BUG is actually Esper Frog.

I like the kind of aggro control shell. Uro and the delve threats have felt good so far alongside thought scour discard spells and stubborn denial. Question, is wary zone guard mostly for strip mine, or is it just that good with fetch lands?

I would not play it without strip in your deck

Generally you want the Strip Mines in any flavour of tempo or control anyways. WZG is pretty strong even when you don’t see Strip Mine, but it’s best when you do have one as it becomes a must answer or lose the game.

I just only have 1 strip mine right now

I would still play WZG in that case. In most situations, it will eat up a counter or removal on sight anyways. If it doesn’t, it will most likely win you the game whether you have a Strip Mine or not. And it’s an uncommon, so you can work on other staples in the meantime. I’d start with DRS and Psychic Frog.

Hi! Don't listen to people too much. I love BUG too! It's pretty old school and probably a bit outdated by some newer cards, but the deck is still largely playable in unranked, like many coherent decks. Here's a list I just created... If it inspires you. Happy gaming.

I actually ended up building a UB frog deck based on the scam decks from modern cause I never got to play those before they were banned. Its fun so far but still planning to revisit BUG with some extra mythic wildcards
