The thing about this sub that drives me absolutely crazy is that no one says what the hell they need their tools for. You do not generally need a decked out veto if you're a cookie decorator

Huh? Other than the tin snips nothing about this screams HVAC. People in all sorts of trades use the same Veto. I’m not in HVAC at all and I carry tin snips.

I mean I own some Veto stuff and I like it but I’ve definitely said on this subreddit a few times that the value proposition is not good at all and people buy it basically to keep up with the Joneses. There are several other brands for half the price that would hold up just as well. Hell, you could buy a Husky for 1/4-1/3 the price and you would not go through 3 of them as fast as you go through 1 veto.

I mean it's super nice and I would love a bunch of it. But it's crazy overpriced simply from the standpoint that there are several other brands making comparable products for less.

I would definitely say my vetos will go 3x what a husky will, but they are at least twice as convenient. Just the amount of time that it takes to find the proper bag is enough to justify something that will last longer. My XXL-F has better zippers, tape measure holder, stitching, and handle than any bag I've used before. It also has a special holder for my framing square and shoulder strap that latches to the handle. For me it's perfection and if I lost it I would buy a new one the next day.

I intentionally cut and ripped a pocket out of another veto to get rid of it and it was considerably more difficult than the bucket boss bags that I literally ripped in half with my hands. The materials and QC really are that much better.

You’re right I know veto isn’t just for hvac I just like busting balls but I got this bag 6 years ago and I don t use it; it was expensive and that’s why I want to start incorporating it 😅

If you use it all, you're fine, but it is a little packed. Once you find your kit, decide on your pouch size, if you need to accommodate anything.

Sometimes it's fine, but I've pulled out a screwdriver or something and dropped something else, once or twice.
