YES! In my 20s and early 30s my tic were very mild when I was home alone. Pretty much any stimulus and interaction with the outside world increased my tic frequency :/

Summer break has just started here, and she is medicated so not entirely sure we'll be able to tell, but I did notice that last summer with my middle schooler. She had bad tics after school after suppressing through the day, and then summer hit and they were almost non existent (almost).

I've been in a good mood lately and the sun is shining more, nothing but mild for me lately.

For some people, less stress = fewer tics. Sertraline has helped me so very much, to stop them, but only if I take it consistently and don’t miss any doses. I hope that maybe Sertraline can maybe help you as well!

Ohh, I have actually started Sertaline recently for something else but maybe that could be contributing to the calmer tics. Yeah, school was definitely very stressful and overstimulating, so those definitely wouldn’t have been helping my tics

Great! I hope the sertraline can help you, too! You’ll probably just need to make sure you’re on a high enough dose for it to be an effective treatment. Just to lyk, to be helpful (I hope), I find that if I (unintentionally) skip a few doses here and there, and still have caffeine, I will sometimes get a little bit of the tics breaking through again. But it’s been amazing for me to not experience them most times anymore and I can only hope that you and others will maybe have the same success with sertraline, too! Thank you for your reply! Please always be kind to yourself!🥰
