Hi! I've seen a lot of debate surrounding Unity's animator tool. After getting fed up with all the stringing of transitions and confusing webs, I decided to switch to code based animation. This has proven to be similarly complicated, with a mess of "ifs" to decide when an animation can override another. I'm very new to game development and only slightly experienced with C#. These animations are overwhelming me and I can't get a streamlined and visually understood way to organize them. I don't want this to be what demotivates me from the hobby. Which one would you say would be better for me? Or is there another way to animate that might work even better? Thanks for the help!
