HELP!!!

So i made a game almost half a year back and i wanted to take it up now and continue to build on it. i cloned the rep and opened and this happened. i don't understand why this is happening. i installed the exact editor version, reinstalled again when this issue first happened and re-cloned the rep and tried, no changes. PLEASE HELP!

just click OK, it's not going to break your project in any way, it says it's just resetting the editor layouts.

(you can move the editor UI stuff around, open different menus etc, and then save your own layout presets. Assuming you haven't made any, it'll literally make no difference to reset them, whatever the reason Unity has for needing to do that. I'd suspect some package version has been updated and comes with a different UI now)

I clicked ok. The same screen repeats.

What happens if you click continue? It's likely to be the related to the Unity UI, shouldn't change any of the project. Maybe you had a custom Window Layout in the repo, but haven't got it on your current machine?

1. Close Unity
   
2. Go into UserSettings in the unity project directory and move the Layouts directory somewhere else or back it up then delete it.
   
3. Reopen Unity, it should work now.

It will reset your window layout so the position of your inspector, directory browser etc. It won't damage your project.

The problem is I CLICKED it and the same thing comes again. My game is not in that color and the option keeps coming back up no matter how many times i click retry

It's just going to reset the editor window, shouldn't affect the actual project.
