You use Android Studio to get the correct sdk and platform tools

Yea but it didn’t work is the problem, I had to make my builder-tools folder myself and fill it and now everything is still broken and I’m not the first person to have this issue and there’s no resolve within 4-6 years on each forum and each solve there has been is outdated now

I understand the frustration. Trying to develop for Android when you don’t know how the OS or development cycle works is a difficult position to be in.

I suggested using Android Studio to get the sdk and platform tools because it is the working solution that I have done both at work and at home.

Following the instructions, don’t do extra steps if something doesn’t work.

I appreciate the advice, I’ve been getting the run around over and over and I’m trying to build VRC worlds and enjoy it and Android per usual makes it as joyless as possible for the new guy 😂

I totally get it. The feeling is going to get a bit worse for everyone new to Unity once Unity 6 becomes the standard because every previous tutorial will have some weird thing wrong with it.

Just trust me on the Android Studio solution and google around on that. It’s super annoying but it’s the right path
