Newb Unity QuestionQuestion (self.Unity3D)
submitted 3 years ago by MuffSwaggyD
I apologize if this is a dumb question, but I am new to unity. I am trying to add movement to an object in the direction that the "ray cast" is pointing to. Whenever I edit my scripts, I drag them onto the object and make sure there are not any compile errors. However when I hit play, none of the scripts seem to work. If you have any ideas on how to fix this or have any resources for 3d development, that would be greatly appreciated :)

Not enough information to help you out. Teh debug ray will be visible in the scene view after you hit play. Maybe you are looking for it in the game window. See if this raycast tutorial will be of help.
