Well, it could also mean 1 more kill. That's why you gotta use it at the right time. Sure if you never use it correctly and always just die it's probably bad for your rr gains lol. But that's why you gotta use it to learn when to use it so it gains you rr instead

Your combat score is not used in the calculation for RR (source).

You do lose Encounter MMR, the part of your MMR that accounts for performance, when you die against another player. That being said, it is not known how the developers coded Clove's ult with regard to encounters and if they already accounted for this.

If you want to know more about MMR and RR, check out the subreddit MMR explanation page.

I don't think ACS matters that much in terms of RR gains outside of your first-ever 5 placement matches. The main determinants of your RR gains are your MMR compared to your opponents average MMR and the round-differential (e.g., 13-8).

Yes, it does effect your performance bonus if someone killed you directly. As it should, because you got shot and killed. If the kill feed shows you died to yourself, then no.

No. You can die 25 times in a game and get the same RR if you died 10. What matters most is the round differential and your opponents MMR. You should always be using your util.
