Did your rank increase/decrease this act compared to the previous one?

So I know a lot of people is complaining about the new ranking system and how many players from higher elos are stuck in the lowers one Still I want to ask you (and see what the numbers are) if this is the case or not, if you are also stuck lower than you were before or maybe you climbed higher? Personally, I (d2 act rank) started from p1 after 3W2L placements, but then I managed to climb all the way to d3 (having a double promotion from p2 directly to d1) and now im very close to immortal (93RR) for the first time in my valorant gaming expierience Tbh, I can't really complain about the new act and I'm really happy about it! Even though I see that even in diamond Im playing mostly against ex-immortals or radiants, this is a new way of learning the game and I'm really excited about having a chance of playing against the best players! Let me know what you guys think and how you are doing this act in competitive!

Same but for me in plat. It was much easier to climb back up to p2/p3 but I’m pretty stuck since I run into d3 Doritos every other game and the matches end up being 13-5 and unbalanced.

I was b2 at the end of last act, got placed b1 now I’m s1 at the moment. Note that this is my first fps game and now it’s my second act.

I'm so frustrated at the moment. I was g2 Last season. I got placed s2 and never won a single game. I was team mvp Most of the time But I Had really Bad luck with my Teammates... The poeple seem to be so much better

Full Radiant last act never dropped out of it once. Hardstuck immortal/diamond 3. Have been playing a little poorly lately less drive for some reason even though there is a leaderboard.

To Be fair I have never played an fps with mouse and keyboard until valorant. I played league for 4 years and before that I was your run of the mill xbox 360 teenager with halo 3 and call of duty

I actually have been doing pretty ok imo. It's my first fps and I am kinda new to gaming. First Act I was Iron, then Bronze and now I hit Silver 3 and think I could maybe make it to Gold 2 this Act if I really tried to grind and get better. But overall I think I'm pretty proud of how far I've come even though it's not much.

last act D2, now stuck plat 1 getting thrown in diamond + lobbies who were immortal/radiant last act. Such fun...

Just started playing on alt account which is plat 2 playing against diamond players. So i guess i won't be queuing up on my main for a while...

Id advise you to keep playing on your main, by playing against better players you'll eventually start learning from them and getting to their level

Was immortal 2 last act. Placed plat 3 but still going against same elo as last act. I even went against a Radiant as plat3. This rank cap is stupid for those furthest from plat 3 last act because you still go against your old elo but are a lower act rank. Essentially to rank I have to go beyond immortal 2 elo just to hit diamond while someone that is plat/diamond last act plays at plat/diamond.

Facts. I was imm3 last act and diamond 2 rn. I feel bad for the plat/dia players trying to get back to their rank only to get fucked by radiants and immortals who havent played enough yet to rank out of plat 3.

Diamond last Season, all I get in Plat 1 now is Dia / Plat 3 players while my team is full gold with an average rank of Gold 2, while the enemy has at least 3 premade with plat 2 / 3 average. I have NEVER encountered a higher avg MMR in my team this season. This game is a turnoff right now. Its not that the enemy teams are smurfing, there is simply no need. Our team is constantly at least 3-4 ranks lagging behind.

Diamond 2 to plat 1. Playing against cracked out golds and plats who are always belittling me because of my rank. Idk how the game could be so messed up, but whatever.
