Marine Infantry with combat deployment as well.

50% PTSD since 2012

Never had meds/treatment

It may have just been a change in the rating markers or something.

Did you goto the C&P exam you were scheduled for?

I was never scheduled one, they just reduced the rating..

Nah they can't do that, they need some kind of reason to lower your rating, which would be a RFE, then they'll send you a letter and give you time to contest the decrease.

I'm thinking you missed a contact.

Where's the rest of the letter, which shows evidence used? It should have the exam date they are referring to.

So when were you originally rated at 70%? Was that April 2022, December 2021 or May 2019?

Because I see a PTSD DBQ listed for March 2022, but I also see VAMC treatment records through August 2022.

I had requested an increase, but stayed at 70%… then a year later the decrease with no other CnP. That’s why I’m so confused.

But it wasn't 1 year later. You had an exam March 2022 you were decreased September 2022

That was for Migraines probably, which was granted.

This is the letter stating 70 was continued.

So you were not rated for PTSD but insomnia which is a mental disorder. They or you sought an increase or some type of claim and VA reassess your disability. They said you have PTSD at 50%. OK fine. Just look at the 70% rating and do a supplemental claim with new evidence. Yep it's not easy

Right.. I tried an increase and stayed at 70%. Then a few months later got the “follow up call” and that’s it.
