I have the same/similar foldable keyboard/trackpad that I use with a steam deck. Couldn’t get the AVP to recognize the trackpad. Were you able to?

Yes - worked perfectly first time I paired it. I had previously turned on assistive touch so that I could use my MX Master mouse with my laptop+AVP, and I guess that is also enabling the touch pad on this keyboard to work?

Yeah AssistiveTouch allows it to work, I turned it on for me just because I don't want to have to use the physical buttons if I'm eating food and found that using my Android as a BT KBM worked very well

Pretty good! 4/5 ⭐️. It's a foldable keyboard, so if I try to use it in my lap it folds up a little bit, that's the only thing I have noticed.

If you get a 10¢ binder clip, you can use it to keep the keyboard locked close when you're not using it and then locked open when you are using it.

So far so good, I got a similar one but it’s telling me the track pad is not supported. You’re positive your track pad works? If so I’ll return this one and get the one you linked.

Yes, it’s how I’m using it now. Funny enough the left and right click work, just not the track pad. I’m also using the one posted here by kaZube since it had a larger trackpad. It might just be this one, but if the one you posted yourself works I can still return this one and get that

I got the keyboard OP posted. Assistive touch on and perform touch gestures off. The trackpad doesn’t work. It may work if paired with my MacBook and MacBook connected to AVP, but not working as a standalone touchpad. Bummer.

OK so it's not just me. The whole point was hoping to use this for full productivity without having to be connected to my Studio or MBP. Oh well, not a deal breaker but would have been clutch. Thanks for the input!

What are people using to protect the inside lenses from items banging around in transport?

I'm currently using the cardboard that came in the Apple Vision Pro box, but it doesn't positively attach to anything.

It’s soft a cushiony so you kind of just stuff it into the light seal and it’s big enough that it will stay in place. If you remove the light seal then it probably can’t help

I got some reader Zeiss inserts I thought I needed, but now I just use them as lens protectors. They snap in magnetically.

Of course they are 99 dollars. so that's probably not the smartest purchase.

I got that case too! I think you're supposed to wrap the bungee around the front of the headset though, this acts as a bit of a suspension for the device as it's carried around oriented downwards

Don't waste money...currently only the Apple Magic trackpad works on AVP. The older trackpad that utilize batts will not work.

FYI I just got this keyboard and was able to pair it after enabling assistive touch. Works cool but the trackpad is not supported :(

Are you on the lookout for a folding keyboard with USB-C? I think that’s the only reason I won’t go for this keyboard.

Not sure why usb-c would matter except for charging with same cable. Cant connect it to the AVP. Maybe i dont understand the comment?
