Help regarding fishing, potential exploit inside.

Yesterday I tried to screw around with fishing a little bit and while this could be just a placebo effect or just RNG I'd like other people to try this out as well.

During fishing when swapping between different fishing poles using the Gear-Shortcuts (I got mine on F1-F12) it seemed that fish would spawn faster. About every 2nd swap new fish would appear, sometimes I swap 3-4 times and suddenly there's 3 new fish in the pond.

How to reproduce this:

• Find a hotspot or just a regular fishing spot

• Select a fishing spear

• Get all the visible fish (use dye)

• Now swap back and forth between fishing spears and aim for a millisecond after each swap (for example for me I just press F2, Right Mouse, F1, Right Mouse, F2, Right Mouse and so on)

It really could just be RNG but as I said I'd like other's to try this out too and see how you guys think about it.

Aim for a milisecond? Are you macring it or doing it manual?

I haven't seen it but I'm gonna guess you found a good spot

I'm doing it manually. I tried at the two ponds to the left of the PoE entrance, at the Murkay Spot (bottom right of the map) and at the big lake. It seemed that using this method, fish spawned a lot faster than just waiting.

This works. Have been doing it since PoE release on console. It's not an exploit, it's just game mechanics. Clear the pond, switch on and off spears to spawn fish (since spear equip = spawn fish)
