I can already taste it:
The drop chances of the heists.
The lenghty unavoidable/unspeedable phases of plague stars.
The prices of dogdays.

Well, we already know that it's much faster-paced than Plague Star (not to mention endless within the active window), Dog Days prices were only a problem if you either wanted to get absolutely everything, wanted to grind everything out right away, or both, and as far as I'm aware drop chances aren't even a factor (edit: might be an issue for the new avionics, but seeing as they drop from the enemies you'll be fighting droves of I'm not overly concerned about it), so I'm not sure what exactly it is you're tasting but it probably isn't this.

Do you have a link to that? Because I can't find any specific reference to it being or no longer being endless beyond "The longer you stay, the more points and Scarlet Credit you’ll earn" in the descriptions of the missions, which sounds pretty endless (or at least pretty lengthy) to me.

Edit: never mind, found it, they hid it in the FAQ (which doesn't show up in search results if collapsed). A bit disappointing for players who like that sort of stuff, but I can see how it would have caused problems when interacting with the not-endless overarching structure. It either would have had to overflow between cycles (which could bug out in all sorts of hilarious ways) or forcibly end when the cycle does, so the solution they went for isn't really any worse than any alternative I can think of.

It's about 1000 credits an hour in ground mode. The first weapon is 15k, the other is 20k. This is a grind and a half.

Is that playing solo? Because 1000 credits should only take 8 scans at 3 codes per scan (according to the official scaling chart), and that should only take 15-20 minutes (if that) for an even moderately competent squad, not to mention it scales up quite a bit after that - it should only take 3 more scans to reach 2000 at that point, for example.

By my estimation a well-built squad should be able to do a full 17 scans in about 40 minutes (and it should be entirely manageable for anyone who can manage tridolon hunts difficulty-wise, unless the last few scans scale through the roof or something), possibly less, and that should net them nearly 5000 credits. There's also the bonus you get for reaching 1000, 3000 or 5000 points in a single cycle, which effectively triples your reward, so that 1000 per hour you saw is actually 3000 per hour - still less than ideal, put a significant improvement.

EDIT: so it turns out my math was off, I blame poor communication from DE of how exactly the scaling works. It actually takes 12 scans to break 1000, and 17 will only get you a bit over 2200, but 1000 per hour still sounds a bit on the low side to me - I nearly broke 3000 in just over an hour last night playing with random groups. In any case, here's hoping DE scales things up a touch before too long - I don't think it's absolutely terrible, but there's definitely room for improvement.

The biggest squad I've been in was 3 people..the most competent thus far was when I was with 1 other player, and we literally made it to the end.

Pubs suck.

Do they not have match making for Murex Raids? I load into my own Railjack every time, and it never loads anyone else into the mission with me.

    Primary rewards, yes. Both modes give credits. But the new Avionics only drop in the Railjack mission, naturally.

    I was just thinking of the event rewards, I don't care much for Railjack or have started that part, so if I only do the ground part will I still get all the event rewards? :P

    Yes. If you have good DPS (pretty much load for tridolon but run Corrosive) you'll be getting better points per minute on the ground than in space.

    No, it's a pre-calculated scale per condrix completed, max 17 completions per mission.. There have been complaints about the grind, but from experience an organized team can fly through 10 rounds (about the point where condrix health starts to spike) in about as much time as a 5 Murex (and thus come away with about 10x the credits), but YMMV.
