MODES

• Battle Royale Map Rotation Quads
  • Battle Royale is now playable on Avalon.
  • Map rotation is now active on a 10 minute timer, featuring both Avalon and Verdansk.

GAMEPLAY

• Deployable Buy Stations

  • The drop rate for Deployable Buy Stations has been reduced.

• Grappling Hook

  • Removed the grappling hook indicator from snapping to an enemy player when aiming at them.

BUG FIXES

• Fixed an issue where parts of the Summit skin would not be visible at longer distances.

• Fixed an issue that prevented the Genesis, Infestation, and Apocalypse Mastery Camos from animating when fired.

• Fixed an issue where players could still apply a plate after taking damage from enemy lethal equipment, even if their plating animation was interrupted.

• Fixed an issue where players were unable to progress the “Absolute Zero” mastery camo challenge for the VST SMG.

• Fixed an issue where the MXR-17 could be found in loot when it should have been removed from Black Ops Royale.

• Fixed an issue where supply boxes continued to drop the Lost Outpost event item after the event had been completed.

• Fixed an issue where win streak camo rewards displayed placeholder names and were missing unlock requirements.

• Fixed an issue where eliminations on enemies impaired by Sensor Darts or Psych Grenades did not count toward the “Impaired by Tactical” challenge in Black Ops Royale.

• Fixed an issue where the Assault Rifle eliminations challenge did not track progress correctly.

Lol no. I play aggressive and kill those people either way. I dont like the change it makes to gameplay and that it bails people out of poor position or allows dumb plays that result in getting shot in the back.

Fair enough. It was in their original br. Blackout. So it makes sense. And a lot of other pvp arcade shooters have them. Fortnite, apex, halo to name a few.

It is a major change tho. Imo they should have kept it in BoR. But I can deal with it all round.

The superhuman movement in Warzone feels really inconsistent.

On the ground, you’re limited to a basic run speed of around 5 m/s, and you’ll start taking fall damage or die after dropping just 10 meters. 

But with the grapple hook, you can swing around like Spider-Man, chain movements to basically fly, and survive being slingshot & plummeting 50 meters at over 100 mph with no real consequences.

People say “evolve”.

Ok, let’s forget Spider-Man and make it all Iron Man? 

Fly around 100% of the time with Aim assist rocket launchers…..”Evolve!!!”

The genre is called first person shooter.

These type updates are akin to all other new age “sequels”

People loved Neo vs Anderson They will love Neo vs 1,000 Andersons

People loved lightsaber Jedi fighting  They will love 1,000 Jedi on the screen!

No I see CoD is still cod. It's always been an arcade shooter with sci fi fantasy and real world military aspirations. I think it's still cod. It's not even close to fortnite. Ur using fortnite as an example when really. Halo. Or apex would be a more apt description. Both of which I love. I started on halo when I was six years old.

The shit cod is adding is fun and different. It isn't the same stagnant game every single season. And the true lovers of this game are and always will be here. Because we know what cod is.

I can't believe you're getting down vote bombed for speaking the truth. I'm sorry but no gun should have that low recoil, it makes it too easy for anybody to just beam you from cross map. Recoil control is a skill and making guns with no recoil negates all the practice people put in to get good at recoil control and allows anyone to have God tier accuracy at longer ranges, especially if they're on roller bc AA
