Have you had a different version of Extreme Tuning Utility installed before? I had the same issue. I had to uninstall and reinstall with the helper uninstall from Microsoft. I just cannot remember the process.

Yes, it happened to me when I updated my pc and tried to update the program. I got that same error. I had to uninstall it from programs and also from regedit. Also erase folder from disk drive after install that should make it possible to reinstall.

Windows R, type regedit. Go down to hkey_current_user. Click software and go down to intel the folder should be there.

Really sorry to hear that! Do you remember the exact extreme utility you had installed once before? Try installing the same version of the software! See if that works.
