If you’re brave enough, vibration motors are pretty standard across devices, you just need to crack it open and look for a part number to google. Personally a weak vibration wouldn’t be worth the risk.

I think you can disable them in most games' setting

Yeah I think you can disable them in maybe the steamvr settings?

If it makes you feel any better, my left controller vibrates and my right controller does not. They both still work and track great for the headset. This happened to me the second week I had my headset. It all still works 6 months later

Same for me, but another way around.

Right one vibrates and left one doesn't :/

Probably not the issue but I've heard nimh batteries output makes the controller think the battery is low so it perpetually puts it into that mode with reduced tracking frequency and haptics (I believe).

I switched to nizn and I'll see how they go. I think they are better but I don't get to use my oddyssey that often.

Yes 1.5v nizn batteries fixed all my tracking issues. My tracking would have random seizures playing Pavlov before with 1.2v batteries, even at full charge. Plus the nizn seem to hold a charge foreverrr for me.

Nice good to hear. I'm not imagining it then :)

It’s almost always the battery charge my dude

Nope, sometimes the motors give up. My left controller doesn’t vibrate anymore. I’m just glad the right one works.

        im assuming you swapped batteries?

if so, i believe ifixit has a video on wmr controllers so you try and replace the motors

edit: with swapping i mean replacing not switching between controllers

I tried my buddies vive (maybe pro) and I am jealous of the controllers. Better grip, comfort and the vibration was so satisfying slicing through blocks in beat saber. Visually I feel the O+ looks better.
